Description
Pneumatic rubber fender, also known as floating rubber fender, is a safety device that takes compressed air as the buffer medium and can be used for dock berthing and lightering operations. Fender is not only durable and strong, but also easy to install, which can be flexibly deployed and installed. Because the fender has the characteristics of low reaction force and high energy absorption, when in use, it is installed in the dock, ship side and the gap between the two ships, which can protect the dock and the hull and reduce the collision and friction during operation. Inflatable fender has become a protective device for giant oil tankers, liquefied natural gas carriers, large transport ships and floating production and storage ships.

Safety Valve
Pneumatic fenders of diameter 2500mm and larger sizes shall be equipped with a safety valve for releasing excess internal pressure. When the fenders are over-compressed accidentally. Fender which is smaller than 2500mm in diameter can also be equipped with a safety valve if requested.
